Health and Safety Rules

Rule			Consequence
Level 1
1.		We play in our correct areas	Redirection
2.		We walk on concrete, bitumen, verandahs and under buildings
3.		We wear a hat or we don't play	Move to Under Cover Area
4.		All skateboards or skates remain outside school grounds
Repeat Offences will incur 10 minutes in The ReThink Room
Level 2
Rule			Consequence
5.		We remain seated in our correct eating area until dismissed	10 minutes in The ReThink Room
6.		We leave our area tidy and clean	Clean up the whole Eating Area
7.		We place all rubbish in bins	Clean up the whole Eating Area
8.		We walk our bikes into and out of the school grounds	10 minutes in The ReThink Room
9.		We are only in a classroom when a teacher is present, or with permission	10 minutes in The ReThink Room
10.		Rough games such as Red Rover, Piggy-backing are banned	10 minutes in The ReThink Room
Repeat Offences will incur 20 minutes in The ReThink Room Those children who incur two detentions in one term will be asked to attend the ReThink Room on another occasion to discuss their actions and commit to a Behaviour Plan to improve their behaviour.
Levels 3 to 6
Level	Rule		Consequence
3	11.	We only climb on playground equipment	Breaking of any level 3 rules will result in 20 minutes in The ReThink Room Level 4 offences will result in an after- school detention Level 5 offences will result in 1-5 day's suspension Level 6 offences will result in 5-20 days suspension Level 7 offences will result in exclusion
3 to 7	12.	We only throw things, which are designed to be thrown
3	13.	The only time we use a hard ball is when a teacher is with us
3	14.	We keep out of potentially dangerous "out of bounds" areas, and remain in sight of a teacher
3 to 5	15.	We get permission from the Principal or Deputy Principal before we leave the school grounds
3 to 6	16.	We don't fight, bite, kick, punch, hit, shove, pinch, wrestle, tackle or use aggressive gestures
3 to 6	17.	We keep our hands and feet to ourselves, and use them to help, not hurt
3	18.	We use toilets properly and do not play in or near the toilets
Repeat offences will move to the next level. Children who are given After School Detentions or Suspensions will also attend the ReThink Room on a separate occasion (as above).
